My Tarot Reading Process
First, I ground the cards with my hands, keeping my feet on the floor, and holding a quartz crystal against the deck. I set my intention, asking the Universe to give me the wisdom to see clearly and draw the cards that are the most truthful and will give the most help. Then, I shuffle the cards, inverting them as the Universe moves me to do so. While shuffling, I read and say aloud the object and purpose of the reading, using the information that the client has provided. This is done so that the reading is directed toward the correct person, and with the intended question in mind. When I feel it is time, I draw three cards from the top of the deck. Presently, I am reading 3-card spreads, with Card 1 representing the querent’s past, Card 2 representing the querent’s present, and Card 3 representing the querent’s future. The time horizon of the reading will depend on the question asked and any time horizon specified.
I will provide my interpretation of the reading in a pdf document, as well as a bonus photo of the cards as I drew them. I will also provide a QR code for my tip jar so that you can send a tip if you found the reading insightful or valuable.
Tarot is a vehicle for self-inquiry, for understanding the directions we can go while navigating life. Readings are not predictive in nature; rather, they are intended to make you think about your life path.
If you still have questions about your reading, I will do an additional single card reading at no additional charge. This additional one card will hopefully clarify the first reading.
I use the Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot Deck, by Matt Hughes. My main guide for learning about Tarot is Kitchen Table Tarot by Melissa Cynova. This is an amazing book, and I encourage everyone to read it or listen to it on Audible. It is a great interpretation of the cards, with many insights about life, by a gifted, experienced Tarot reader.
